Catalpa is a broad-leaved and honey-like tree with heart-shaped leaves. The tree can reach a height of up to 15 meters. It is used for parks, gardens and is an extremely suitable tree if you want to create a shady place. Grows relatively fast, prefers sunny and wind-protected places. The tree withstands low temperatures and is also dry-resistant. It prefers more fertile soil, but also supports inferior soils. Blooms in June-July with large white flowers but only after 3 meters height.
